Our Beck 550 Spyder clamshell (rear lid ) gas support strut kit eliminates the need to reach in, locate and set the manual prop rod when opening or closing your clamshell. You simply unlock, lift the clamshell and it stays up, then you simply push it down to close it. You will still need to secure (latch) it as you normally do to ensure it remains locked and closed.
Drilling and welding is required for installation, professional installation is recommended. Please email us, info@fibersteel.com with any questions.
